Low carb diets stress your body in too many ways to discuss here; however, what you risk during the short term may be considered nothing if weight loss is your highest priority. You will have some serious sorting of problems when you are finished. Please consider slow weight loss by a complete lifestyle change. Quick and easy usually bring results built on poor foundational health. with that being said, you must consider the statement "you are what you eat". If you don't have natural fruits and vegetables you will not get the highest quality of weight loss. This means you will not have the supple skin, strong heart, and high energy living you are losing weight to achieve. Losing weight to be thin isn't that great if you are thin and tired or look tired. Vegetables have abundant nutrients and most importantly enzymes to facilitate body changes the way your body was designed to make it happen. Getting thin should mean serious regular exercise, living food (fresh fruits and vegetables), proper stretching, and a high quality whole food multivitamin. If you do this for six months you will have lasting results and look better. After six months of slow methodical healthy eating and daily activity you will see results you didn't even expect. You will discover the real basis for your problem. If after a year of being diligent about your own health...caring for yourself, you still find there are some things you can't live with, then see a doctor for sclerotherapy. Otherwise, the veins will start to minimize themselves as you add greater activity to your program. If your goal is quick and easy you will be back where you started in six months. If your goal is a life change then think of yourself as you should...important and worth the deep consideration it takes to change everything. Quick should not be a word you use for your body if Long quality of life is what you seek.
